The Role

You’ll be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and heating systems across a range of residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both plumbing and gas work, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems.
• Diagnose faults and provide effective, long-lasting solutions.
• Conduct gas safety inspections and boiler servicing.
• Install and commission boilers, heating systems, and associated controls.
• Ensure all work complies with current regulations and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional company image.
• Complete job reports and communicate effectively with the office team.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent qualification).
• Gas Safe registration (or eligible for registration).
• Proven experience in domestic and/or commercial plumbing and gas work.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

Desirable

• Experience with renewable heating systems (e.g. air source heat pumps).
• Unvented hot water (G3) qualification.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
