Site Manager

ACR has an extremely exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a smaller independent developer, working on a 9 unit site in the Enfield area. Initially a temporary role, but with the expectation to go permanent in the New Year.

This role requires an enthusiastic, industry-knowledgeable and detail-oriented Site Manager who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty and is willing to get stuck into the job and help out where needed. Reporting directly into the Contracts Manager.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure the project runs to programme, budget, and quality standards.
• Schedule and manage labour, materials, and equipment efficiently.
• Coordinate site logistics, deliveries, and storage.
• Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and incident reports.
• Promote a strong safety culture among staff and subcontractors.
• Supervise all trades to ensure high standards of workmanship and specification compliance.
• Inspect and sign off completed work stages.
• Manage snagging, rework, and final handover processes.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and direct labour on site.
• Hold daily or weekly site meetings to monitor progress and address issues.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing traditional build housing sites
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certified
• Strong leadership and communication skills
