Multi Trader / Plumber

We are recruiting for multi-skilled tradespersons to join our evergrowing workforce. Desired candidates would possess experience and skills within plumbing and/or painting & decorating. The successful candidate must be willing to work remotely in and around London, specifically the Southeast; generally, an approx. 60 to 80-mile radius from our head office in Dunmow, Essex.

The scope of works here at MBS.uk is endless and no two days are the same, working across various sectors. With an envious client base, our well-regarded remote engineers are often operating within prestigious landmark buildings across the Southeast of England. We do not work on building sites, the majority of our work is based on industrial estates, retail parks or within office buildings etc.

Company vehicle, fuel card, work phone and uniform are provided as standard. Company pension provided after completion of initial probationary period. Overtime is readily available for those who would like it, evening and weekend working etc.

As well as plumbing/ painting & decorating attributes, the preferred candidate(s) should have experience within at least one trade; desirable skillsets are painting & decorating, carpentry, groundworks / civils, high-level works, and general handyman tasks. We would also encourage services engineers (plumbers and electricians) to apply, on the basis they're prepared to 'mix in' with other works outside of M&E (mechanical & electrical) services.

Essential Job Functions:

• Able to perform in any given circumstance within role expectations.
• Working remotely across various sites, ensuring we’re well presented and respectful at all times.
• Carrying out works / tasks to a good standard, works areas to be kept clear and tidy.
• Taking pride in all works carried out, we DO NOT bodge.
• Photographing and documenting works carried out via company work phone, ensuring client signatures are taken on completion of works.
• Safety is paramount, make certain suitable PPE is worn at all times and dynamic risk assessments are undertaken before any tasks are carried out.
• Willing to collect company plant and fleet vehicles for task at hand, whilst also ensuring competency when used.
• Ensure you are familiar with and work in line with company policies and procedures at all times.
• Adopt ethical working practices and remain respectful to colleagues, public, tenants and other contactors.
• Comply with any reasonable request given by a Manager/Director of the company.

Salary:

• £36,400 to £47,500 per annum (subject to experience)
• Bonus scheme

• Out of hours call-out rota

• 8:00am to 16:30pm onsite

Attributes / Previous Experience:

• Previous experience with plumbing repairs, alterations and installs.
• Previous experience within at least one trade
• Previous experience in commercial maintenance

• CSCS, PASMA and IPAF training (not imperative)
