What you’ll do

• Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, deliver pre-planned work, and keep pupils on task.
• Manage behaviour positively and uphold school policies.
• Record attendance and provide brief feedback at the end of the day.
• Support the wider school as needed, duties, cover across departments, etc.

What we’re looking for:

1. Strong classroom presence and clear communication skills (secondary phase).
2. Right to work in the UK and enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
3. Relevant experience with young people (e.g., TA, sports coaching, tutoring, youth work).
4. Availability during school hours (Mon–Fri, term time) and the ability to travel to schools in Tonbridge.
