Location – Stanstead Abbotts

Salary - £16ph - £18ph

Working Hours – 4 days per week, 09:30am – 1:30pm

Our client based in Stansted Abbotts are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their friendly team, on a part-time basis, covering 09:30am – 1:30pm Tuesday through to Friday each week

They are an accountancy practice that provides a range of services including preparation of annual accounts, VAT returns, tax returns and payroll for a growing portfolio of clients.

The primary purpose of the role is to support the Payroll Manager in providing accurate and timely payroll processing for monthly paid clients in line with statutory legislation and company policies. Therefore, thorough knowledge of processing PAYE, NI and pension deductions is required.

The role also involves assisting the team in the preparatory work required for annual accounts, tax returns and general duties (training will be provided for this).

Excellent Word and Excel skills are essential and knowledge and experience in Sage 50 Payroll software is desirable.

They are also looking for strong verbal and written communication skills as the role also involves dealing with enquiries from clients in an efficient and professional manner
